There's no other evening as magical as Christmas Eve. A Christmas tree and Christmas bells, Holy Supper with your dearest people and caroling make the night before Christmas almost as special as the big day itself. 
Do you try to keep national Christmas traditions?

Christmas is a winter holiday .Christmas is christian holiday about Jesus Christ birth.Ukrainian celebrate Christmas according to Gregorian calendar.Christmas Day is a annual public holiday across Ukraine so many jobs ,schools and universities are closed.Christmas lasts three days:from January 7th to January 9th .The essential elements are X-mas three, caroling and Vertep.Its Ukrainian elements of Christmas .
    My family celebrate Christmas too. We try to keep Ukrainian tradition of this holiday.One day before Christmas is Holy Supper .Its most interesting part of the holiday.All member of the family try to get together.My family calebrate eve X-mas with 12course dinner.We sing carols ,eat and get fun.

  2. Christmas for many people is an important family holiday. There are many traditions of Christmas celebrating.Ukrainians celebrate Christmas in January. This holiday lasts three days : from January 7th to January 9th.We celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.Many Ukrainians have a day off on Christmas Day.They celebrates the birth of Jeasus Christ. The elements are: Christmas tree, didukh, caroling ,Vertep. I love to participate in Vertep. The most interesting part of Ukrainian Christmas is Christmas Eve on January 6th. It is called Holy Supper .We celebrate Christmas Eve with a twelve course dinner representint twelve Christ's apostle.
    I try to keep this national Christmas traditions.

    My family and I celebrate it with grandparents.The first we must eat one pease of garlic.The second we eat tradition food,kytia.Then we eat and speak.CD disc play carols and we all listen it.In the end we sing carols and we all was fun.

My family have essential elements of celebrstion Christmas. There are a Christmas tree a sheaf of wheat called Didukh and caroling. The most interesting part of Ukraine Christmas is Christmas Eve on Junuary 6 th. It is called Holly Supper. All the members of the family try to get together. My famile celebrate Christmas Eve with a 12-course dinne, represent 12 Christ's apastle. Also we sing carolling and eat traditions food.

    My family and me loves very much.My family celebrate Christmas Eve with 12 course dinner.We have dumplings,kutia,fish,mushroom sause,stewed fruit,beans,cabbage rolls,plums with nuts,baked potato,soup with donuts,herring,mushrooms.Holly Supper is the most interesting part of the holiday.In the 7th of January we sing carols.In 8th of January we visits Lviv.In 9th of January we goes to my sister.
    Its tradition in my family.

  6. Christmas is one of the greatest holiday in Ukraine. It is the birth of Jesus Christ. We celebrate Christmas in January according to Gregoian calendar. Many Ukrainians have a day off on Christmas. Like many families in Ukraine we have Holy Supper on the 6th of January. Mother and my sister prepare 12 lenten dishes. Kutya and uzvar are the most important of them. My sister and me decorate a X-max tree. Grandpa brings didukh to the living room. We sing carols. Then we go to the church.
    On Christmas children go from house to house singing carols and performing Bible stories about Jesus Christ birth.
    Christmas is my favourite winter holiday.

  8. Ukrainians celrbration Christmas in jenuary zccording to Gregorian calendar Christmas day is an annual public holiday. Chrismas is a Christion holiday. It is a family holiday to. It's the day of Jesus Christ 's. it last three days from janusry 7th to jenusry 9th the essential element of the celebration are christmas tree, a sheaf of wheat called diduch, carolind and vertep. People decorate their homes before Christmas. They decorate their Christmas tree. They decorate it with lights and toys. The evening of January 6th is considered to be holy. It is necessary to have twelve dishes on the table in honor of the twelve apostles. Traditional dishes include soup, cabbage rolls, fish, beans, uzvar and, of course, Kutya. All family members are supposed to be at home for supper. As soon as supper comes to an end, children can go outside and sing carols. People go to the church.They visit their relatives. I like Christmas very mach.
